Research Objective: assessment of the degree progression diabetic retinopathy (DR) in patients who have had a coronavirus infection. Methods. A retrospective and prospective analysis severity DR was performed 84 with type 2 diabetes mellitus underwent COVID-19. Based on comparative dynamics disease during pandemic (2020-2021) pre-pandemic period (2018-2019). Results. In persons COVID-19, stages non-proliferative prevailed. most cases, there transition from mild stage to moderate severe. Conclusion.
